Rev. Dr. George Calhoun

Rev. Dr. George Calhoun has been a lead pastor and pastoral counselor for over 38 years and has served the same church for 24 of those years. Actively involved in ministry, he has traveled extensively to Ethiopia, Jamaica, Brazil and Guyana, teaching pastoral leadership to church leaders. Dr. Calhoun has been an integral part of his community as a police chaplain, high school soccer coach, public school liaison, men’s homeless shelter pastor and community clergy member. He also mobilized six trips for Hurricane Katrina relief and was awarded the “Fifty Who Matter” Award by the Janesville, WI. Gazette.

He teaches at Judson University in the graduate schools of Christian Ministries and Business and Leadership and serves as pastor for the Christian band, “Citizen Way”, (sons: Ben and Josh Calhoun). Dr. Calhoun has had the privilege of being taught by such renowned scholars as; J.I. Packer, Henry and Richard Blackaby and Gordon MacDonald.

He has been married for 40 years to Lannette, an accomplished musician and teacher and is very involved with his 3 children (and spouses) and 8 grandchildren.

Josh Calhoun

Josh has been working as the Creative Arts Director at Central Christian Church in Beloit, WI for the past three years. Just before this position he was the Director of Student Ministries at Central Christian for two years and before that he was a full-time musician with the band Citizen Way, which he started with his brother Ben back in 2004. Along with touring and recording with the band Josh had the honor of serving at multiple churches as a worship leader, including New Life Assembly of God here in Janesville. 
He has been married for 11 years to Kaia and together they have four incredible children, Maisy (6), Penny (4), Myles (2) and Lucy (8 months).
